BioAt the age of 23, Dr. Lance Sweets has officially "made it"--or so it would seem. He has obtained an undergrad degree in Psychology, a master's in Abnormal Psych, and his Doctorate's in Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Analysis. He is a Forensic Psychologist for the FBI, and a human lie detector--despite being an awful liar himself.
Sounds great, huh?
When he was a child, he went through the awful world of child abuse, and his back bares the marks of a whip. Not much is known of his father, but his mother is a psychic with a circus in Florida. Fortunately, he was adopted by two wonderful people, if not a bit far along in age, when he was 6.
He is presently writing a novel tentatively entitled "Bones: The Heart of the Matter", based on his time working with Special Agent Seeley Booth and Dr. Temperance Brennan--who he has since latched onto as a sort of makeshift, dysfunctional family.
He is insightful, thoughtful, caring, and occasionally full of rampant immaturity. Don't let his looks fool you--he knows what you're thinking.
